Title :フェムト秒パルスレーザを用いた多結晶ダイヤモンドに対する平坦化加工技術の開発

Abstract :The polycrystalline diamond (PCD), sintered by ultrahigh pressure, possesses the best wear resistance among conventional tool materials adapted to micro grinding. In order to use the PCD as a grinding tool, you need to flatting and smoothing the tool surface. Therefore, an attempt was made to develop a laser smoothing techniques for PCD grinding tool using femtosecond pulsed laser that can high speed. It was confirmed that cobalt and diamond contained in PCD could be processed without distinction by using femtosecond pulse laser. Moreover, the possibility of improving the surface condition was found by using a femtosecond pulse laser.
