Title :ピーリング工具を用いる微細加工の加工特性の研究-加工機の改良と50μmコアによる放電加工-

Abstract :A peeling tool, a thin wire electrode coated with a different material, has been developed as a microelectrode in micro-EDM. Tungsten wire of 50-μm diameter is used as the core and zinc is electroplated on the core. The EDM machine was improved to easily detect a bubble appeared at rear surface of the workpiece. The fabricated peeling tool was analyzed for surface roughness and eccentricity. The microhole drilling for Fe plate of 100 μm thickness was carried out using by the peeling tool with 50-μm core.
